A South Africa visit visa is a short-term entry permit that allows foreign nationals to stay in the country for less than 90 days. It is commonly used for tourism, visiting family and friends, or attending business meetings and conferences. Canadian citizens do not need a visa for stays of up to 90 days; however, foreign nationals living in Canada who are not visa-exempt must apply for one. Regardless of nationality, all visitors must comply with South Africa’s entry rules, which include holding a valid passport and, where required, presenting additional supporting documentation at the border.
