To qualify for the Business Nominee stream, applicants must meet these requirements:
- Hold at least a high school diploma (higher education if required for the proposed business).
- Have a minimum of 3 years of entrepreneurial or business management experience and at least 5 years of work experience relevant to the business.
- Possess a net worth of at least CAD 500,000, legally acquired.
- Have at least CAD 300,000 in liquid assets.
- Make a minimum investment of CAD 300,000 in a Yukon business within the first two years.
- Actively manage the business on a daily basis.
- Ensure the business benefits Yukon’s economy and operates in an eligible sector.
- Achieve at least 65 points on the Yukon Business Nominee Program assessment grid.
