If you are not from the EU, here’s what you need to get a work permit in Sweden:
- A valid job offer from a Swedish employer
- Terms of employment that match Swedish agreements
- A minimum salary of SEK 13,000 per month (as of 2024)
- The job must be advertised in the EU or EEA for at least 10 days
- A valid passport and plans to live in Sweden
- Your employer needs to be registered with the Swedish Tax Agency
Note: Make sure to submit your application before coming to Sweden unless you already have a valid residence permit.
