Canadian permanent residents and non-Canadian citizens who live in Canada must obtain a B-1 Business Visa when traveling to the United States for business activities. To obtain the visa you must complete the DS-160 application form then pay the visa fee before scheduling an interview at a U.S. Embassy or Consulate in Canada and bring all necessary documents for the interview. Business travelers from the United States who hold U.S. citizenship do not require a visa to enter the country.
