The eligibility criteria change depending on the stream but most applicants need to meet the following requirements:
- For worker streams applicants need a valid job offer from a BC employer.
- For worker streams applicants need to demonstrate minimum language proficiency through IELTS or CELPIP.
- Applicants must show relevant work experience in an eligible occupation.
- Applicants need to have educational qualifications that match BC's labour market needs.
- For Express Entry-linked streams applicants must have an Express Entry profile.
