A provincial nomination does not guarantee permanent residency but it significantly increases your probability of being selected. The NLPNP nomination helps applicants obtain 600 CRS points in the Express Entry system or alternatively lets them submit direct IRCC applications for PR through the base stream. The federal government grants the final approval for permanent residency applications.
