The general requirements for the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) include the following:

- Express Entry profiles must be valid for applicants who wish to apply through Express Entry-linked streams.
- Applicants must not have any grounds for inadmissibility to Canada including medical or criminal reasons.
