If the student is a Portuguese student visa holder, they can bring their dependent family members to reside with them. Students must prove they have enough funds to support themselves and their members. Family members who can come with the students in Portugal:
- Spouse or registered/domestic partner
- Minor children (including adopted children)
- Adults (unmarried children) who are dependent on you
Note: Family members who want to settle in Portugal with the student must apply for a Portugal Family reunification visa after they have settled in Portugal
