There are four basic types of resume writing that can be followed while applying for a job:
- Chronological resume: This is a typical resume pattern in which each section presents every item in chronological order or by date.
- Functional: This resume pattern is mainly used for changing careers or graduating from college, as well as for your work history related to your job.
- Combination: This resume pattern is a combination of both chronological and functional resumes.
- Targeted: This resume pattern can be chronological, functional, or combination, but it is targeted to a certain position.
