The following documents can be used as proof of relationship for spousal sponsorship application:
- Completed Relationship Information and Sponsorship Evaluation questionnaire (IMM 5532) form
- Marriage certificate or completed Statutory Declaration of Severance of Common-law Union form (IMM 5519)
- Wedding invitation cards and photos (for spouses)
- Documents showing joint ownership of land or residential property
- Documents showing joint bank accounts or credit card accounts
- Documents showing the same residential address for both partners
