• Age: Applicants between 18 and 44 years old can score points based on their age.
  • English Language Proficiency: Applicants must demonstrate competency in English by submitting recognized language test results.
  • Overseas Experience Points: Points can be claimed for having overseas work experience in the nominated occupation within the last 10 years.
  • Australian Experience: Points are awarded for working in Australia in an occupation listed on the Skilled Occupation List (SOL).
  • Overseas Qualification Points: Recognized qualifications at the bachelor’s level or higher can earn additional points.
  • Australian Study: Completing a course in Australia of at least two academic years or more qualifies for extra points.
  • Live and Study in Regional Area: Points can be claimed if the applicant met the Australian study requirement by living and studying in a ‘regional low population growth metropolitan area’ for at least 2 years.
  • Partner Skills: Additional points can be claimed if the partner satisfies basic requirements related to age, English language ability, qualifications, and skills assessment results.
