Candidates in Express Entry with CRS scores as low as 332 have been offered Canada PR Invitations to Apply by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada. This is in a draw that was held on 15th May and was program-specific.
The May 15th Express Entry draw offered ITAs to 500
candidates. All the candidates were eligible under the Program Federal
Skilled Trades. It is one of the 3 federal economic immigration programs allied
with the Express Entry.
The Program
Federal Skilled Trades permits eligible tradespersons globally to obtain the Canada PR Visa. The rule of
the tie-break was applied in the 15th May draw. This implies that not all
candidates with CRS 332 received an ITA as multiple candidates can have the
same score. The candidates who entered their profile in the Express Entry pool by
8:32:03 UTC prior to August 29, 2018, were prioritized.
The latest draw
was the 10th draw till now in 2019. 31, 750 ITAs have been offered so far and
it appears as a big year for Express Entry. This is even as IRCC expands its
invitations to achieve its targets for
economic immigration. It may result in a decrease in the CRS cut-off score
as the year advances, as quoted by the CIC News.
The record low
CRS cut-off score so far for an all program draw in Express Entry is 413.
