Canada Nova Scotia province is accepting immigration applications from today 17 November under its B category. It must be noted that the application cap opens and exhausts within no time. Approximately 225 immigration applications will be accepted by Nova Scotia.
Applicants are required to submit their Expression of Interest – EOI once the Category B opens. They must also be prepared with the required documents. The requirements for the Category B applicants are:
- Be in any one of the target occupations specified in the Express Entry guide - Nova Scotia Demand
- Possess a registered profile in the Express Entry system of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada
- Secure 67 or more points in the 6 factors of selection in the stream
- Possess minimum one year of skilled work experience in any one of the target occupations
- Must have credentials from a Canada High School or equivalent, as quoted by the CIC News
- Demonstrate ability in French or English language at CLB 7 - Canadian Language Benchmark
- Show adequate financial resources to settle successfully in Nova Scotia
