Aspiring immigrants to Australia must take note of the latest updates for Subclass 482 and 489 Visa. Immigration South Australia has announced more details regarding Designated Area Migration Agreements. The update is applicable for the Subclass 482 Temporary Skills Shortage Visa applicants.

Australia DAMA details have the following:
Particulars of the 2 DAMA Occupation Lists
• Adelaide
Technology and Innovation Agreement
This agreement
has 60 occupations that support the Adelaide City Deal. These occupations
pertain to employers in the Technology, Advanced Manufacturing, Space, and
Defence sectors. The employers can access and retain highly skilled workers
through this.
• South
Australia Regional Workforce Agreement
The agreement
has 114 occupations. These occupations pertain to employers in the crucial
regional industries of growth. It includes Construction, Mining, Tourism,
Hospitality, Aged care, Health, and Agribusiness. The employers can access and
retain highly skilled workers through this, as quoted by the SBS.
Information pertaining to Employer Eligibility
Additional
details regarding the application process for DAMA and the manner of applying
will be announced on July 1, 2019.
Central West is
one amongst the nine Regional Authorities that take part in sponsoring NSW
Subclass 489 Visa. It has declared that the Regional Sponsorship has been closed. The new list of occupations
for the fiscal year 2019-2020 will be announced in July 2019, it added. The
update is applicable for the Subclass 482 489 Visa applicants who apply for
Central West NSW for Regional Sponsorship.
